About the Role
SDCo is looking for a Residential Concrete Superintendent to lead field operations across multiple job sites within an assigned territory. You'll own your projects from start to finish, including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, quality control, billing accuracy, and customer satisfaction, making sure every job is completed on time, within budget, and to our quality and safety standards.
This role is a great fit if you're a hands-on leader who likes autonomy, stays composed under pressure, and builds strong relationships with builders and crews. It's fast-paced and high-accountability, with real ownership of your territory.
What You'll Do
Project and Field Management
Plan, schedule, and oversee multiple residential concrete projects at once
Create and maintain accurate project schedules to keep jobs on track
Walk jobs before, during, and after pours to confirm quality and compliance
Verify measurements and make sure work aligns with plans, codes, and specifications
Manage job scope using project documentation and tracking systems
Subcontractor and Vendor Coordination
Manage subcontractor crews to complete work safely, on time, and to company standards
Meet onsite with subcontractors, vendors, and builders as needed
Coordinate material orders and deliveries to keep projects moving
Financial and Administrative Oversight
Work with accounting to ensure accurate, timely billing
Review and verify purchase orders and work orders before execution
Resolve billing discrepancies with subcontractors
Support timely collection of approved work and change orders
Communication and Relationships
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, builders, inspectors, and vendors
Keep stakeholders updated on project status and timelines
Build long-term relationships that support company growth
What You Bring
Required:
Valid driver's license
Experience managing subcontractors and multiple job sites
Strong organizational and time management skills
Clear, professional communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Basic computer and math skills
Preferred:
3+ years of experience in residential construction or concrete operations
Ability to read and interpret construction plans (training provided if needed)
